China Nonferrous Metals (Guilin) Geology and Mining Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of CNMC, specializes in the R&D in fields such as mineral exploration, new materials, environmental remediation, and ecological restoration. It hosts the National Engineering Research Center for Special Mineral Materials and serves as the chair of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) technical committee on electron probe microanalysis. Several of its independently developed proprietary technologies and products have reached or surpassed international advanced levels.
