Founded in 1953，Shenyang Nonferrous Metallurgical Engineering and Research Institute Co., Ltd. is a comprehensive design institute specializing in metallurgical, architectural, and municipal (heating) engineering design, cost consulting, technical consulting, general contracting for construction projects, and project management services. It holds Class-A (top-tier) design qualifications in metallurgical and architectural engineering.

The institute has completed over 2,500 engineering design projects across mining, smelting, power generation, and civil construction sectors both domestically and internationally. It holds two invention patents and 16 utility model patents, and has won more than 50 national and provincial-level design and consulting awards, as well as two provincial and ministerial-level science and technology progress awards.
